Team Shine completed a come-from-behind victory to frustrate Team Sparkle 15-25, 18-25, 25-20, 25-22, 17-15, in the Philippine Superliga Super Cup Friday at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Down by four, 10-14, Team Shine tied the contest 14-14 before Fritz Gallenero returned Team Sparkle the match point, 15-14.
Eli Soyud and MJ Philips scored on attacks, sandwiching Grethcel Soltones’ error to seal the win for Team Shine.
“Our pride is at stake,” said Team Shine coach Ray Karl Dimaculangan.
“Although this is only a pocket tournament but we want to finish strong.”
